A Flemish University group developed an integrated Antifungals Identification and Characterization Platform. The fungicidal screening makes it possible to identify novel (broad-spectrum) fungicidal compounds. Emphasis is put on the identification of fungicidal compounds with activity against fungal biofilms and unraveling their mode of action.
