A German inventor has developed a process for the erection of wind turbines with heights of more than 160 m based on slipforming technology. Currently the construction of wind turbines in this heights is limited because equipment with the capability to operate with the required precision in this heights is not available, whereas the supply of suitable areas for wind plans with a lower height is decreasing.
